Edit Contracts
The details of any contract that is in Preliminary status can be modified. The details of any contract that is in Effective status can also be modified only if it contains a version that is in New status (i.e. it is not committed). A contract that was committed can no longer be modified. For more information, see Committing a Contract and Creating a New Version of a Contract
Follow these steps:
- In the Contracts page, click
next to the desired contract.
The Contract Details page opens.
- In the Contract Details-General tab:
- Edit the fields as required.
- Click Alerts to create a new alert for the contract. For more information, see Creating an Alert for a Contract.
- Click Contracts Navigator to view the data model of the contract, contract party or metric. For more information, see Contracts Navigator.
- For New versions only, click Commit to commit the selected version.
- For Pending versions only, click Undo Commit to change the status of the contract back to Preliminary. The terms of the contract can then be modified.
- For Contract Workflow enabled, click Request Approval to send a request for approval for the version. For more information, see Understanding Contract Statuses and Committing a Contract.
- Click Apply to save changes and stay in the current page.
- Click Save to save changes and return to the previous page.
- Click Cancel to discard changes and return to the previous page.
- Click Delete to remove the contract.
- In the Contract Details-Notes tab, view or add notes. For more information, see Notes Tab.
- In the Contract Details-Parameters tab, view or add contract-level parameters. For more information, see Parameters.
- In the Contract Details-Timeslots tab, view or define a new timeslot for the contract. For more information, see Timeslots.
- In the Contract Details-Audit Trail tab, view the contract audit trail. For more information, see Audit Trail.
- In the Contract Details-Diagnose tab, perform a series of diagnostic tests on each contract objective. For more information, see Diagnosing a Contract.
Note: This tab is only available for contracts that are in Effective status and contain a version that is in New status (i.e. not committed).
- In the Contract Details-Exceptions tab, view or add exceptions associated with the contract. For more information, see Exceptions.
- In the Contract Details-Attachments tab, view or add attachments associated with the contract. For more information, see Attachments Tab.
- In the Contractual Section tab, edit or add contractual metrics. For more information, see Creating Contractual Metrics.
- In the Financial Section-Metrics tab, edit or add financial metrics. For more information, see Creating Financial Metrics.
- In the Financial Section-Penalties tab, edit or add penalties for the contract. For more information, see Creating a Penalty.
Note: This tab is only available if the system is configured to use penalties.
- In the Operational Section tab, edit or add operational metrics. For more information, see Creating Operational Metrics.
- In the All Metrics tab, edit or add metrics for the contract. For more information, see Creating Metrics.
