Configure Email Settings

A service provider configures email settings so that requests can automatically send alerts. To send email notifications, configure CA CSDP with your email server and sender information.

The following diagram illustrates how to configure email settings for CA Service Catalog, CA Process Automation, and CA Service Desk Manager (CA SDM).

To configure email settings, perform the following tasks:

1. Review Email Prerequisites.
2. Configure CA Service Catalog Email Settings.
   • Edit Administrator Email ID in CA Service Catalog.
3. Configure CA Process Automation Email Settings.
   • Configure the Administrator Email in CA Process Automation.
   • Configure the Administrator Email in CA Service Catalog Global Dataset.
   • Configure the CA Process Automation Global Dataset.
4. Update Email Settings and Addresses in CA Service Desk Manager.
