Hotfixes
This section describes all of the available hotfixes for this release. Make sure that your grid is updated with the mandatory hotfixes to ensure a properly working grid.
To download and apply a hotfix, follow these instructions.
- Mandatory Hotfixes

- hf9479: Resolves the CVE-2015-0235 (GHOST) security vulnerability by updating the standard appliances catalog, all appliances in the /system, /dynamic, /filer catalogs and VDS and VDS64 applications.
- hf9469 : Resolves OpenSSL security vulnerabilities.
- hf9467 : Resolves both an issue where 'comp start' may result in a controller crash and OpenSSL security vulnerabilities.
- hf9466 : Disables the grid metering server system from collecting and reporting data to the configured metering server. This hotfix modifies files on the grid controller and removes all metering log files currently residing on the grid controller.
- hf9161: Disables the CentOS raid-check cron job which can interfere with the AppLogic automated volume repair function.
- hf9184: Resolves a number of Xen security vulnerabilities.
- hf8948: Resolves various stability, translation, and GUI issues.
- Optional Hotfixes

- hf9459: An optional enhancement that enables the control transfer back to the master INSSLR2 appliance instance when it passes the health check, while avoiding flapping.
- hf9414: Resolves a guest VM network shutdown that can also be accompanied by a dom0 kernel crash that occurs with some network cards that support TCP segmentation offload.
- hf9124: Resolves the issue with default property values disappearing after being set.
- hf8751: Resolves performance issues with relatively new CPUs that support Extended Page Tables (EPT).
- hf9266: Resolves the following issues:
- The web shell cannot be accessed using Google Chrome.
- The IP addresses for a network range do not get populated in the UI.
- df8448: Updates aldo-fix (the hotfix application script) such that hotfixes which update the grid controller that are already applied to a grid are not be re-applied when a new server is added.
- hf9193: Adds support for setting the uuid of an appliance running under Xen on a CA AppLogic grid.
- df8975: Resolves an issue where dom0 kernel crashes on boot on Dell C6200 hardware Mandatory for Dell C6200 users.
- hf9031: Resolves an issue with CA AppLogic 3.7.x not properly configuring smartd to monitor disks connected to LSI megaraid 2108 controllers.
- hf9035: Corrects the Japanese language translation for CA AppLogic 3.7.14. Mandatory for Japanese users.
- hf9042: Resolves an issue in CA AppLogic 3.5.19 and 3.7.14 where applications containing a swap volume cannot be migrated (SCR 9042).
