Key Bug Fixes

The following defects have been resolved in the core CA AppLogic 3.7 GA release:

• 8332: CLI: App provision allows a regular user to execute shell commands as root
• 8482: CLI: Cat import into an existing catalog may destroy the catalog
• 8496: Product: Long subordinate name in main descriptor causes Applogic to crash
• 8571: EDT: The MigrateTo wizard is not invoking 3tappmigrate with correct value for hidden properties that are not modified by the user (e.g., admin_password for SugarCRM application)
• 8673: Product: Xen: server info reports incorrect # of sockets
• 8728: VRM: Secondary server doesn't take over when primary is down on a 2 server grid.
• 8789: CAT: MYSQLR* resets replication every time the appliance is rebooted (data corruption)
• 3722: VRM: number of physical CPUs may not be reported correctly on some servers
• 7134: Product: network HA: previously downed NICs are not re-discovered after rebooting the server and restoring the network
• 7273: Product: GSSAPI authentication should be disabled for '3t ssh' (ssh client to appliance)
• 7409: WSAPI: vol/list?&all returns a list of volumes less volumes than "vol list --all" in CLI
• 7596: Product: servers with very large data volumes can fail on reboot due to fsck
• 7673: Product: xen netback driver crashes when receiving large packets
• 7749: RBAC: user can import catalog into the catalog where user only has read access.
• 7786: Product: reduce maximum volume size from 2TB to 2TB - 1MB
• 7791: Product: linux-kernel - Upgrade hpsa driver to latest version v3.1.0-7
• 7804: Product: 3tvolmaintd returns malformed UDL to CLI
• 7814: Prod: Quotas: incorrect message from quotas cron job
• 7861: EDT: Renaming of assembly/singleton is overlapping the singleton icon
• 7883: EDT: The terminal name overlaps with icon display when the number of characters exceeds more than 4 in a singleton appliance
• 7922: EDT: MEI: "IP Address" field in the Interfaces tab is blank
• 7940: EDT: Login is enabled for a stateless component added to a running application
• 7948: 3tctl (3tvol and so on) detect a regular disk partition formatted by SLES 11 with ext3 as raw
• 7963: Product: an app with lux5 singleton failed to start in HVM mode
• 8008: EDT: The CPU,memory, and Storage on the dashboard look squeezed and tight when there is still room on the right side.
• 8017: Product: Xen Security Vulnerabilities (xsa #20 to #31)
• 8030: RBAC: performance to list users is much slower when the user is explicitly listed in the grid acl.
• 8084: EDT-Application Editor hangs when user selects raw interface and clicks on Appliance menu.
• 8164: EDT: interface is not being saved when the modification is made insde the class editor.
• 8217: EDT: Incorrect resource values were displayed on Mixed grid dashboard when disabled a server
• 8222: MEI-EDT-Configure Interfaces window should display the default vlanid.
• 8241: EDT-Dashboard message should be displayed when "apps_network.conf" is corrupted or missing.
• 8270: EDT: Migrating a non existing catalog class is prompting for user input in UI migration wizard
• 8289: EDT: Singleton Icon display is varied from IE and other browsers
• 8296: EDT: Migrate From wizard URL password is not masked
• 8299: CTLD: comp free results in a warning message being displayed by CLI for MEI components
• 8314: EDT : Migrated SCRM application is not getting started since the IP addresses configued under Interfaces tab are not retained post migration
• 8316: EDT : Application Migration using Migrate From option in UI is getting failed when the application in source grid is in running state
• 8320: Product :Managed appliance creation in xen_hvm mode is failing when initiated from image2class utility on AMD
• 8322: Product :Managed appliance creation fails for ubuntu804.ova and ubuntu804x64.ova in xen_pv mode
• 8323: CTL:Grid controller clock drifts from host clock due to absence of ntpd
• 8338: EDT: Start stop restart options are disabled in the editor context menu and application menu when the application is failed to start
• 8349: Product: Default bandwidth (i.e. 1M) of all the Windows VDS templates for all the different OSes is not adequate
• 8354: Product: Xen Security Vulnerabilities (xsa #33 to #43)
• 8369: EDT: App doesn't restart when initiating the restart command inside the editor and then close the editor.
• 8372: CAT: Filer_Linux fails to update mbr properly for RHEL 6.3
• 8398: Product : Boot volume resize operation failed from GUI, for an application provisioned from VDS64_RHEL63_r1 template application.
• 8399: Product : Application provisioned from VDS64_RHEL63_r1 template application failed to start either from GUI/CLI post vol re-size operation executed from CLI.
• 8402: EDT: modify boundary: sorting does not work
• 8411: EDT: rename of the volume name incorrectly allows the name to begin with an underscore
• 8412: Product: impex volume is not mounted after grid upgrade from 3.1 (intermittent)
• 8426: APK:Win8 and windows2012 appliances are not getting displayed in the graph when there is no mount path specified for the common volume.
• 8428: EDT:Volume disappears when renamed with an invalid value from UI
• 8442: EDT:Web Shell window left idle is hanged and unresponsive with in short time span.
• 8451: EDT: Login console buttons are disabled in the editor toolbar for default appliance selected
• 8456: Product: CPU in domU is not proportionately distributed during three pair network performance test on 10G grid with multiple vCPU in dom0
• 8469: EDT: Dashboard Network Resource displays incorrect netmask for IPv6.
• 8470: EDT: Failed to open class editor when MEI is configured with IPv6 address.
• 8474: EDT: Chrome: Buttons in Volume Manage window are not highlighted when tab is used to navigate
• 8477: CLI: grid info --batch generates invalid UDL when displaying IPv6 addresses
• 8480: WSAPI: Vol create should not require fs parameter for link volume
• 8494: CAT: MYSQLR64 is generating a false alarm about free space on data volume.
• 8497: CLI(3tappcfg): app config --effective displays additional connection attributes
• 8498: CLI (3tcomp): comp info --batch displays an invalid UDL identifier for the component name
• 8510: EDT: Appliances connected using ‘Balloon Mode’ are displayed with dots
• 8514: EDT: Wrong message when controller is low on memory
• 8517: EDT: Print preview window will not open on an application containing the invalid icon
• 8518: EDT: Empty dialog box when a webshell fails to open due to low memory on the controller
• 8566: Product: CPU overcommit does not honor existing dom0 vCPU exclusive setting of the grid
• 8570: Product: CPU overcommit setting does not persist across grid reboot, if dom0 vCPU exclusive setting was applied on grid
• 8572: EDT: component icons showing multiple images when dragging from catalog to canvas.
• 8573: EDT: login buttons enabled when the application is stopped
• 8574: EDT: zoom controls showing up in IE on loading of the editor
• 8575: EDT: app configuration: cannot clear a configured IP address
• 8576: CLI (3tappcfg): configuration values beginning with '$.' are not properly quoted when stored in the descriptor
• 8578: EDT: Assembly interior connections are visible from the top level application
• 8579: BMT (3tbmc): It is possible for the metering report to be invalid UDL resulting in a failure to report metering data
• 8580: CTL: grid controller sometimes came up when the majority of the servers were down on a 4 server grid.
• 8604: EDT: Application saving message display is missed in editor by selecting from toolbar-close(X) button -save option
• 8655: CAT: MYSQLR* fails to start if web console is configured
• 8656: CAT: MYSQLR* replication does not work
• 8663: EDT: Canvas artefacts when using annotations
• 8692: CLI: Restart of an application will be failed when volume repair is in progress and completed before restart and completed during restart
• 8706: CLI: class list --batch is not valid UDL for empty catalog
• 8708: CLI: may assign application UID of 1 on any app create if there are duplicate application UIDs
• 8715: CLI: 3tmigrate checks for the wrong set of data for permission when not exporting a catalog.
• 8723: EDT-Editor Context menu does not display well
• 8726: EDT-Error icon is missed for appliances
• 8730: CLI: class destroy does not update application descriptor
• 8732: CLI: Warning message for failed class copy operation due to existing singletons at target
• 8760: CLI: bad error message when export vol without specifying the image file.
• 8761: WSAPI: several API calls return incorrect status codes
• 8766: EDT: Change in virtualization modes popup closes the modify boundary dialog when cancel is pressed
• 8767: EDT: Boundary icons disappear when reloading the interior of an assembly
• 8775: CAT: Gateway appliance add dns servers to resolv.conf multiple times
• 8777: CPU Overcommit: Controller CPU utilization displays 1 CPU after enabling 2x overcommit
• 8779: CLI: export command through improper error messages while exporting to subdirectory on the impex volume
• 8786: EDT: Browser not responding after F5 refresh (Internet Explorer only)
• 8787: CLI: Failed to execute srv power_cycle in certain order of the options
• 8790: CAT: MYSQLR* disk counters not working properly

• 8801: CLI: XEN: vol resize fails with message "Failed to copy filesystem - status: 100"
• 8802: EDT: dynamic appliances show incorrect type of property values and empty resources
• 8803: CPU Overcommit: Servers display disconnected status when CPU Overcommit is disable
• 8817: CLI: app config does not copy connections when --template=<app> argument is used
• 8856: CLI: CLI help needs update for server disable with maintenance option to sync with the product documentation
• 8866: WSAPI: CLI: inconsistent behavior for group modify

• 8264: EDT: IE 10: user can incorrectly edit volume name in manage volume UI
• 8266: EDT: INT type property value does not validate specified range
• 8284: EDT: Network Error when press escape key while AppList context menu open
• 8311: CAT: SugarCRM shows error message on all it pages that it could not connect to the Sugar Server

• 8903: CLI: The error message missing server # when set backbone or external to invalid switch.
