Publish IT Metrics to Mobile Devices

As an administrator, you are responsible for configuring metric connectors and building business indicators for your users.

The following illustration describes how an administrator publishes IT metrics to mobile devices using CA Executive Insight.

Publish Metrics

To publish IT metrics from CA APM, CA SOI, CA Capacity Command Center, CA Infrastructure Management, CSV files, and RESTful Web Services to mobile devices, follow these steps:

  1. Understand CA Executive Insight concepts.
  2. Add and configure a connector:
    1. Configure connector for CA APM.
    2. Configure connector for CA Service Operations Insight (CA SOI).
    3. Configure connector for CSV files.
    4. Configure connector for CA Capacity Command Center (CCC).
    5. Configure connector for CA Infrastructure Management (CA IM).
    6. Configure Connector for Web Service.
  3. Select metrics to use as basic business indicators.
  4. Validate Web Service Data is Available for Mobile Devices.
