Search for an Adapter

By default, the Adapters page displays an alphabetical list of all defined adapters. To shorten the list, use the search procedure defined below.

To search for an adapter

  1. In Name, type the name of the adapter. Wildcards can be used.
  2. In Type, select the adapter type, Text file adapter or Sql adapter. If no selection is made, all types display.
  3. Click Search.

    The results display below the search area.

    Note: You can also select a letter from the alphabet list to display a list of adapters that begins with that letter.

  4. Click Refresh to refresh the Adapters page and see the up to date status of the adapters.

The search area grid in the Adapters page displays the search results in column format. Grid settings and other actions can be performed using the Grid Setting button button. For more information on the search results grid, see Using Search Results Grids. Columns with indications unique to the Adapters page are also shown in the search results grid as follows:

Download configuration file button

Button that indicates the adapter is managed and to download its configuration file. For more information, see Downloading a Configuration File.

Run now button

Button that indicates the adapter is set to run once (manually) and enables running the adapter.

Start Adapter (Icon)

Button to start the communication channel with the adapter. For more information, see Controlling Adapters.

Stop Adapter (Icon)

Button to disconnect the communication channel to the adapter For more information, see Controlling Adapters.
