Download a Configuration File

When adapters are created using the Adapter Wizard, the configuration file that is created for the specific adapter can be downloaded (as an XML file) and used to create another adapter on a different machine.

Note: Only managed adapters that are created using the Adapter Wizard can have their configuration file downloaded.

To download a configuration file:

1. In the Adapters page, click next to the desired adapter and select Download configuration file.

2. In the Adapters page, click next to the desired adapter. The Adapter Configuration window is displayed.
3. Click on the Click here to open/download link. The adapter's configuration file is opened in the default browser.
4. Click File/Save As. The Save As window is displayed.
5. Type a name for the file (the default is ConfigFile.xml) and select the desired directory where the file is to be saved in.
6. Click File/Close to exit from the browser page.
