User Views and Multiple Hosts

If you are connected to more than one z/OS host computer, the Windows Client provides several options for viewing object attributes in a User View. You can:

• Display data for all connected hosts using a separate window for each host.
• Display all information for all connected hosts in a single window, organized by host.
• Display all information for all hosts in one window, but display only one copy of duplicate records.

When you connect to a host, that host expands in the Object Tree. You can see the host's categories and objects. If you connect to a second host, the first host collapses so that only the first host's name is visible in the tree.
