HPSM_ Variable

The CA Process Automation HP Service Manager Gateway uses the HPSM_ variable to send data to HP Service Manager for creating an incident. When defining custom fields, you use the HPSM_ variable, which is a copy of the HP Service Manager parameters. The CreateTicket process creates its own copy of the HPSM_ variable when the process is triggered to pass information to HP Service Manager.

The HPSM_ variable is a ValueMap data type variable that consists of a group of variables, each describing an HP Service Manager incident attribute. You access each element in the ValueMap using the dot (.) operator. When used in source code, the elements of a HPSM_ variable are accessible using the format HPSM_.variableName.

Note: The fully qualified reference is Process.HPSM_.variableName, but HPSM_.variableName is acceptable.
