View HP Service Manager Parameters

CA Process Automation HP Service Manager Gateway uses the HP Service Manager parameters to send data to HP Service Manager for creating an incident. When defining custom fields, you use the HPSM_ variable, which is a copy of the HP Service Manager parameters.

This procedure describes how to display a list of these parameters from CA Process Automation.

Follow these steps:

  1. Click CA Process Automation Client at the upper right of the CA Process Automation Management Console.

The CA Process Automation Client opens in the Configuration Browser page.

  2. Expand Default Environment in the Browser pane and double-click Orchestrator.

    The Folders pane opens.

  3. Select the CA SM Gateway folder.

The CA Process Automation HP Service Manager Gateway integration processes display on the right pane.

  4. Double-click Configuration Dataset.

    The Value Definition pane opens.

  5. Expand HPSM Server Configuration, HPSM, and the HPSM Connection Parameters, HPSM Parameters, HPSM Additional Parameters, and HPSM Custom Parameters pages.

A list of HP Service Manager parameters displays. A copy of these parameters is passed to the CreateTicket process during runtime. For more information, see HPSM_ Variable.

The HP Service Manager parameters display in the right pane with any currently defined values that are based on what you configured when running HPSMConfiguration.

  6. Select an HP Service Manager parameter in the Value Definition pane to display attributes for that parameter in the right pane.
