Server Context Views

Navigate to Server context pages by clicking a server link on an Inventory Device page. Multiple types of Server context are available, depending on the registered data sources:

Details Tab

Provides data to identify the server, including its manufacturer and model. Shows the group context for this server and the SNMP information associated with it. Also provides views of health-related statistics for the server, such as availability.

By default, the Server Details context page contains the following views:

• Availability Trend with Events
• Calendar Heat Chart - Availability
• Event List

System Health Tab

Provides high-level data about server CPU, memory, and interface utilization.

By default, the Server System Health context page contains the following views:

• CPU Utilization
• Memory Utilization
• Interface Utilization
• Average CPU Utilization Trend with Events
• Average Memory Utilization Trend with Events
• Calendar Heat Chart - CPU Utilization
• Calendar Heat Chart - Memory Utilization
• Top Interface Discard Rate
• Top Interface Error Rate
• Top Interface Discards Per Second
• Top Interface Errors Per Second
• Disk Utilization

Disk Health Tab

Provides a view of server disk utilization and status. For more information, see Disk Utilization.

Interface Health Tab

Provides data related to interface traffic load, discards, and errors.

By default, the Interface Health tab in the Server context contains the following views:

• Top Interface Discard Rate
• Top Interface Error Rate
• Top Interface Discards
• Top Interface Errors
• Top Interface Utilization - Out - Table
• Top Interface Utilization - In - Table

Several Interface tabs contain multiviews that you can customize to compare interface health within a selected server. For more information, see Modify a Multiview.

Top CPU Utilization Tab

Contains a multiview of CPU or memory utilization.

Top Interface Utilization Tab

Contains a multiview of interface utilization.

Top Interface Discards Tab

Contains a multiview of interface discards.

Top Interface Errors Tab

Contains a multiview of interface errors.

Custom Views - Infrastructure Management Tab

Contains a collection of views that can be extensively customized.

Other context pages that are available for a selected server depend on the registered data sources. These typically include pages that break out data from specialized virtual machine and cluster servers.
