Average Interface Utilization

The Interface Utilization view shows you a gauge-style chart of average interface bandwidth utilization values from the indicated device interface.

Note: The inner band on the gauge is color-coded to indicate the severity.

You can edit the view to change severity ratings. You can select minimum and maximum values for each severity category:

Red

Indicates that metrics fall into the 'Critical' category.

Yellow

Indicates that metrics fall into the 'Moderate' or 'moderately degraded' category for minor impairments.

Green

Indicates that metrics fall into a 'normal' range.

By default, the Interface Utilization view includes the following information:

Device

Identifies the device whose data is reflected in the view. If an administrator defined an alias for the device item, the alias is displayed. Otherwise, the discovered device name is displayed.

Utilization

Is the utilization of the interface, expressed as the percentage of interface capacity.
