How to Set Up the Change Management Process Definition
To set up the Change Management Process Definition, do the following:
- Use CA Workflow to review the documentation about activity nodes, Sub Activities, and notifications.
- Create the CAB and Implementation groups who are responsible for managing the change process.
- Create contacts and assign them to the CAB or Implementation groups.
- Configure email notifications for the Change Management Process Definition.
- If you are not using the default Tomcat server port 8090, configure the Tomcat server for the appropriate communications between CA Workflow and CA SDM.
- Configure one or more change categories to use the Change Management Process Definition.
- Install the Category Defaults option in Options Manager.
