Configure an Offline Subscription Proxy

When any CA Enterprise Log Manager servers have no connection to the Internet, you must configure one or more CA Enterprise Log Manager servers as offline subscription proxies from which other offline client servers can get subscription updates.

An administrator must copy subscription updates from an online proxy to offline proxies. The preconfigured download path follows: .../opt/CA/LogManager/data/subscription.

Only Administrators can configure subscription proxies.

To configure an offline subscription proxy

1. Click the Administration tab, click Services, expand the Subscription Module, and select the server to configure.

   The Subscription Module Service Configuration for the selected CA Enterprise Log Manager server appears.

2. Select Offline Subscription Proxy.

   

3. Click Save.

   You can now configure this offline subscription proxy as follows:

   • Add it to the global setting for Subscription Proxy (s) for Content Updates
   • Add it to the global setting and/or any local client setting for Subscription Proxy(s) for Client
