- Autogen using Copyback— If the AUTOGEN_SOURCE option is activated in ENCOPTBL, when using elements are not found at the target location, the Copyback instead of the NoSource function is employed.
- Autogen in Simulation Mode— You can run the Autogen option in simulation mode in batch to see what the results would be without actually performing actions with Autogen activated.
- Concurrent Action Processing of Type Categories— The Global Type Sequencing feature provides a grouping capability that enables Concurrent Action Processing (CAP) to execute multiple Types simultaneously.

- Package Edit— When editing a package In an ISPF Edit session, the IBM ISPF Edit option HIDE X is supported.
- CA Endevor Integration for the Natural Environment— Various enhancements improve the usability and performance of CA Endevor Integration for the Natural Environment.
- Substringing of Symbolic Variables for Long File Names— The processing of the substring option when used with the symbols for long file names has changed. This processing change can produce a different result for these symbols.
- Print Element and Print Member— The following enhancement applies to the Print Element and Print Member actions. The output of the print action can have a record length of more than 121 bytes, if you specify the C1PRTVB ddname on the To clause. (This change was introduced as a Version 15.0 PTF.) For more information about C1PRTVB, see the Print Element Syntax or the Print Member Syntax in the SCL Reference Guide.
- Print Element— The NOCC option for the Print Element action is enhanced. This option suppresses the printing of a header on each page of output. Beginning with Version 16.0, for the PRINT ELEMENT MASTER output, other line feed characters in column 1 of the output are replaced with a blank space. In addition, when multiple elements are coded (using name masking) on the request, a blank line is printed between elements to separate the output. For more information about this option, see the Print Element Syntax in the SCL Reference Guide.
- CSV utility List Destination function extracted data— The column heads for data set DISP, UNIT, and VOLSER are changed to: HOST DSN DISP and REMOTE DSN DISP; HOST DSN UNIT and REMOTE DSN UNIT; and HOST DSN VOLSER and REMOTE DSN VOLSER. For more information about these fields, see Extracted Destination Data in the Utilities Guide.
Note: The product CA Mainframe Software Manager (CA MSM) has been renamed to CA Chorus™ Software Manager (CA CSM). CA Endevor SCM Version 16.0 has been certified for CA CSM Version 05.1.00.
