(Database) Update CA Site Minder Policy in CA EEM

Update the CA Site Minder policy in CA EEM for the database password change to take effect.

Follow these steps:

1. Click Start, All Programs, CA, SiteMinder, SiteMinder Policy Server Management Console.

   Policy Server Management Console window opens.

2. Click the Data tab and update the password in the Password field.
3. Click Test Connection.

   A success message appears.

4. Click Apply.
5. (Optional) If the test is unsuccessful, verify the password and retry.
6. Click the Status tab.
7. Click Stop and then click Start.
8. Restart the system, reopen SiteMinder Policy Server Management Console, Data, and then click Test Connection to ensure the password change is successful.
9. The password is updated in CA Site Minder Policy.
