(Database) Update Database Password in CA Nimsoft Infrastructure Manager
Update the database password in CA Nimsoft Infrastructure Manager.
Follow these steps:
- Log in to the system where CA Infrastructure Manager is installed.
- Click Start, All Programs, Nimsoft Monitoring, Infrastructure Manager.
- Expand MaaS-Central-Domain under Console and select MaaS-Central-Robot.
- Select data_engine from the probes column, right-click, and select Configure.
- Click the Database tab, update the password in the Password field.
- Click OK.
- Select the selfservice _cm probe, right-click, select Deactivate, and then select Activate.
- Select the nas probe, press the Ctrl key and right-click, select Raw Configure.
The Raw Configure wizard appears.
- Expand the enrichment-source folder, and then expand the cmdbs folder.
- Select the following configuration parameters, select password from the Key column, click Edit Key, and click OK to change the password:
- by_profile
- by_metid
- SuppKeyStandard
- UseSuppKeyTable
- UseSubSysTable
The database password is updated in CA Nimsoft Infrastructure Manager.
(Database) Update Database Password in CA Nimsoft Infrastructure Manager Processor
After you have updated the database password in CA Nimsoft Infrastructure Manager, update the password in CA Nimsoft Infrastructure Manager Processor folder.
Follow these steps:
- Log in to the system NMS1 as an administrator.
- Navigate to F:\Nimsoft\probes\slm\qos_processor
- Open the dbcredentials text file, update the password, and save the file.
The database password is updated in CA Nimsoft Infrastructure Manager Processor.
