Unpacking Packages

To install templates of service definitions and contract templates to the Template Library, unpack a package and select the desired contents.

Follow these steps:

  1. In the Packages page, click unpack button next to the package you want to unpack.
  2. Select the desired service definitions and contract templates.

    Note: Unpack all of the desired service definitions and templates at once.

    Important! Unpacking a package is irreversible.

  3. Click Unpack. The selected package entities are entered into the catalog.
  4. If a package contains files with the same name as existing system entities, a dialog opens. Select one of the following actions:
    Rename

    Changes the name of the new template before adding it to the library.

    Leave

    Keeps the existing template. CA Business Service Insight does not transfer the new template.
