Administration

The Administration menu functions enable system administrators or privileged users to carry out various administration functions related to CA Business Service Insight.

From the Main menu, select Administration. The Administration menu opens (with the user permissions defined by the system administrator).

The Administration menu contains the following options:

User Management

Manage users, user groups, roles and organizations.

Site Settings

Define contract, template library, alert, engine, time zone and advanced system settings. In addition, you can translate and add languages, modify terminology and define SSA and global sharing settings.

Logs

View user successful login sessions, login failures, and other system messages from the log.

Content Transfer

Import or export parts of the system database to another CA Business Service Insight server and import predefined content packages.

ACE Management

Allocate a contract party to an ACE engine instance or allocate a specific global metric to a specific ACE engine instance. Also, you can mass manage the earliest date for which the system is to recalculate contracts and perform a purge of raw data events, contracts and their related, calculated data.

Document Repository

Manage document templates.

License Management

Enter the license number and key, which determine how many entities (Adapters, Concurrent Users, Contracts, Metrics, Contract parties, Reports and Users) can be created for this instance of CA Business Service Insight.
