Adding and Translating Errors

An error message is displayed if any problems are encountered during the adding and translating process. Possible reasons for the error message include:

• The new entry duplicates the name of an existing entity.
• The name of the new entry is too long. Resource names are limited to 100 characters. All other entries have a maximum of 30 characters. (Automatic names built from the source fields may be longer).
• The name of the new entry includes illegal characters, such as a line break.

If at least one of the entries being translated is valid, you have the option to add these valid entries while rejecting the others.
