Ignore a Translation Entry

Pending entries that do not require translation can be set to Ignored. Once a particular value has been ignored, it is permanently removed from the list of pending entries.

Tip: This process can be automated using the Translation Script.

To ignore a translation entry

  1. In the Translation Entries page, perform a search to display the required translation entries in the search results area.
  2. Select one or more translation entries and click Ignore. A confirmation dialog opens. You may select entries with different statuses and destination types at one time.

Note: If the search results are displayed on multiple pages (as indicated by the page navigation links beneath the results), selections can be made on one page at a time only.

Tip: Click Select All button to select all entries displayed on the current page, and to clear all selections.

  3. Click Yes. A message window opens indicating that the status of these entries has been successfully set to Ignored.
  4. Click OK. The Translation Entries page opens.
