Search for a Translation Entry
By default, the Translation Entries page displays an alphabetical list of all defined translation entries. If there are many pending entries, the page links at the bottom of the page enable navigating through the pages and finding the required entries. To shorten the list, use the search procedure defined in this section.
To search for a translation entry
- In the Translation Entries page, select the required search options, as follows:
- In Table Name, select a translation table name from the list.
- In Search for, type the search criteria
- Select Translated from or Translated to as the search value.
Note: When selecting the Translated from option, the search is performed according to each of the fields individually. Therefore, the displayed results may show in the Translated from column, entries that do not equal the value typed in the Search for field.
- In Status, select one or more translation statuses to include in the search from the following:
- Pending: The translation value for the entry has not been defined.
- Translated: The entry has already been translated into a value defined in CA Business Service Insight.
- Ignored: The translation entry is deliberately being ignored and will not be translated. This status prevents this translation entry from becoming pending again.
- Click Clear to clear the search criteria and start a new search.
- Click Search. The results are displayed below the search area. For more information about the search results grid, see Using Search Results Grids.
Note: You can also select a letter from the alphabet list to display a list of translation entries that begins with that letter.
You can use an advanced filtering mechanism for additional refining of the search results.
To add advanced filtering options:
- Repeat step one from above.
- Click Advanced. The Advanced Search window is displayed.
- Select a search option or options:
- In Destination type, select a destination type from the list.
- In Registered Adapter, select a registered adapter from the list.
- In Last action time, enter dates for translation entries that were last manipulated between the specified dates. An empty start field begins the search at the earliest date stored in the system, and an empty end field searches until the end of the latest date stored in the system.
- In Order by, select the order by which the search results are displayed.
- Click Search. The results are displayed below the search area. For more information about the search results grid, see Using Search Results Grids.
Translation entries are listed in a table form and contain the following fields:

The value of the entry requiring translation. (If there are multiple values, only the value of the first field, as received from the data source, is displayed).

The value to which the entry has been translated.
|
|
Last action time
|
The last time this translation entry was modified.
