Verify the Status of a Service

You can verify the status of a service associated with the instance that you selected on the Instance - CA Workload Automation AE Administrator window. The following services can be active if they are installed for the instance:

• Agent

  Note: If you installed multiple agents, all the agent services are displayed on the Services - CA Workload Automation AE Administrator window.

• Scheduler
• Application server
• Web server

Note: You can start, stop, or verify the status of the web server service only if you installed a web server during the custom installation.

Follow these steps:

1. Click Start, Programs, CA, Workload Automation AE, Administrator.

   The Instance - CA Workload Automation AE Administrator window opens.

2. Select an instance from the Instance drop-down list in the Settings pane.
3. Click the Services icon on the toolbar.

   The Services - CA Workload Automation AE Administrator window appears, displaying a list of services installed on the selected instance. The Status column indicates the status.
