The following list describes the components that are required for integration between CA SOI and HP Service Manager, where to find these components, and where to install or implement them.
Provides required third-party components, the CA Process Automation product, and CA Process Automation documentation. Install CA Process Automation on a separate server.
Provides CA EEM for all supported platforms. CA EEM is required if you want to use it to authenticate CA Process Automation users. You can find the CA EEM installer on disk 2 of the CA Process Automation installation media, but we recommend using the existing CA EEM server that is used with CA SOI for CA Process Automation authentication.
Provides CA Process Automation-specific definitions for CA EEM. Find this file on disk 2 of the CA Process Automation installation media. This file belongs where CA EEM is installed.
Provides the CA SOI process definitions for CA Process Automation. This directory is provided on the CA SOI installation image at Disk1\Integrations\ITPAM-HPSM\ITPAM_Server_Files. The files in this directory belong on the CA Process Automation server, or the location where the CA Process Automation JNLP Client runs.
Provides CA Process Automation-related files and the trigger file for integrating HP Service Manager with CA Process Automation. This directory is located on the CA SOI installation image at Disk1\Integrations\ITPAM-HPSM\HPSM_Server_Files. The files in this directory belong on the HP Service Manager server.
The HP Service Manager Web Client is an HP Service Manager web module. Launching the HP incident in-context from the CA SOI console requires this component. To install this component, see the HP Service Manager documentation.
Provides the prerequisite container for the CA Catalyst connector for HP Service Manager. Install the CA Catalyst Container that is provided with CA SOI.
Provides the CA Catalyst connector for integration with HP Service Manager. CA Process Automation makes requests to HP Service Manager through this connector. Install the connector on the same system as the CA Catalyst Container for Connectors. Find the CA Catalyst connector for HP Service Manager on the CA SOI product page on CA Support Online.
Important! Verify that the r3.2 version of the CA Catalyst connector for HP Service Manager is available before configuring the HP Service Manager integration. Also, verify that you are using the latest online version of the documentation.
This application enables CA SOI callbacks to be executed by HP Service Manager triggers. This application calls CA SOI web services through CA Process Automation to clear a CA SOI alert when an HP Service Manager ticket is closed. Download from the HP Support site and install on the HP Service Manager Server.
The CA Process Automation HP Service Manager Gateway, using underlying CA Process Automation technology and the CA Catalyst connector for HP Service Manager, links alert data that CA SOI generates to HP Service Manager. You can use the CA Process Automation HP Service Manager Gateway to perform the following tasks:
