Service Option Groups

Each service in the catalog consists of one or more service option groups. Service option groups are bundled groups of individual service option elements. These elements define the characteristics of the catalog items. Each business unit can have its own set of service option groups.

Note: To display the service option groups for an additional business unit, click Change Business Unit.

You can perform the following basic tasks to manage service option elements:

• View a service option group definition
• Add a service option group
• Use a tiered service option group
• Review the availability of a service option group
• Edit a service option group
• Copy and paste service option groups
• Delete a service option group

You can perform the following advanced tasks to manage service option elements:

• Use inheritance to add a service option group
• View service option group dependencies
• Review published reports and publish a report layout for a service option group
• Define a service option group
• Associate a CA APM model

  If your CA Service Catalog implementation integrates with CA APM, you can associate one or more CA APM models with a service option.
