Create an Inherited Service Option Group

You can use inheritance to create a service option group. The inherited service option group is a copy of the original one and is dependent on it.

Follow these steps:

  1. Click Service Builder, Service Option Groups.

    The Service Option Groups page appears.

  2. Select the service option group that you want to be inherited by another service option group and click Copy.

    The service option group is copied so that it can be inherited.

  3. Click Paste as Inherited on the header bar of the catalog where you want to place the inherited service option group.
  4. Enter the name of the new, inherited service option group.

You have used inheritance to add a service option group.
