Automate Verification Actions

You can automate some verification actions in CA Server Automation using the Policy Management functionality. Each action duplicates the corresponding manual functionality with the addition of policy management inputs such as approval and scheduling.

The following verification actions can be automated using policy management:

• Baseline Snapshot
• Compare Systems
• Gold Standard Snapshot
• Run CA Configuration Automation Discovery
• Run Change Detection

To create a policy using a verification action, follow the procedure in Use a Predefined Action Type. The inputs vary depending on the selected action. Refer to the corresponding manual functionality if necessary.
