Host Events

The following properties either control the events that are sent to the domain manager or raise events for the specified conditions:

"A host-viewer login has failed."

Indicates that a viewer has connected to a host with an incorrect user name or password and has been rejected.

Default: True

"A viewer user’s request is denied."

Indicates that a viewer has connected to a host with a correct user name and password but does not have permission to perform the type of connection requested. The connection is rejected.

Default: True

"A remote control session has started."

Indicates that a viewer has connected successfully with a host, completed login, and started up video transmission successfully.

Default: False

"A remote control session has stopped."

Indicates that a viewer has terminated its session with a host and disconnected.

Default: False

"A host error has occurred."

Indicates whether a host error has occurred.

Default: True

"A host has started up."

Indicates that the host has entered a started state. This means that it has finished initialization and is ready for use. It may not necessarily have signed on to its domain manager.

Default: False

"A host has shutdown."

Indicates that the host has entered a stopped state.

Default: False

"A host has started listening for connections."

Indicates that the host has entered a listening state. This means that it is active and ready to accept connections from viewers.

Default: False

"A host has stopped listening for connections."

Indicates whether the host has stopped listening for connections. This can result from one of the following conditions:

Default: False

"A host has initiated a reboot."

Indicates that the host has asked the operating system to restart.

Default: False

"A host has been locked."

Indicates that the host has entered a locked state, wherein all connections are closed and the host has stopped listening for connections.

Default: False

"A host has been unlocked."

Indicates that the host has been unlocked. The host begins listening for connections again and is ready for use.

Default: False

Allow status update events to be sent to the management server

Controls whether status update events should be sent to the manager.

Default: True

Send events to the management server.

Controls whether centrally managed hosts send events of any kind to their manager. If True, centrally managed hosts send all events to the manager, overriding settings for individual events.

Default: True
