Export Options Dialog

The Export Options dialog lets you convert proprietary *.urc files to AVI or Windows Media (WMV) format.

Note: Unless you are familiar with conversion formats and video compression codecs, accept the default configuration options. Experienced users should consult the Remote Control Administration Guide before changing settings.

This dialog contains the following fields:

File Format

Specifies the output file format for the video file. Valid values are AVI and WMV. The AVI format supports more compression codecs, but the WMV format is better suited for streaming media downloads.

Default: WMV

Output File

Defines the output file name for the converted file. For a single file, enter the output file name and path. Use the Browse button to select multiple recording files for conversion. If you select multiple files, the Replay Export tool automatically outputs video files with the input file names and the appropriate extension (*.avi or *.wmv).

Video Compression Codec

Specifies the video compression codec. When started, the Replay Export tool enumerates the available compression codecs in the drop-down list and displays the most suitable one available as the default.

This dialog contains the following buttons:

Configure

Invokes a codec-specific dialog, providing detailed configuration options.

Note: This button is enabled only if the selected video compression codec permits additional configuration. For detailed information, see the Remote Control Administration Guide.

Replay Options

Invokes the Properties dialog, which lets you configure the source conversion of the recording file.

Start

Saves changes and starts the conversion process.
