Start a Chat Session

A chat session can be started after a connection has been established. The Chat window appears in the same window as the remote control session.

To start a chat session

1. Establish a viewer/host connection.
2. From the DSM Remote Control tree or the Viewer pane, click My Sessions to expand the My Sessions folder.
3. Right-click the active session and click Show Chat.

   Alternatively, click the Chat toolbar button.

   Chat windows are simultaneously displayed on the host and viewer. These windows are independent of each other and can be resized and moved around to suit your needs.

Note: If in full screen mode, click Show Chat from the View Options menu located on the Full Screen shortcut bar.
