Converse Using Chat

You can "converse" in a Chat window by entering text or copying and pasting text.

To converse in a chat session

1. Click the text field located at the bottom of the Chat window and enter your message.

   Note: To start a new line in a chat entry without activating the send function, press Shift+Enter.

2. Press Enter or click the Right arrow button to display the text in the Conversation window.

   Data entered here is transmitted to the remote computer and displayed in the remote computer's Conversation portion of the Chat window.

Note: Text can be copied and pasted in the Say field. You can paste copied text in Chat by right-clicking the Paste option or by pressing Ctrl+V. You can cut text by selecting the text to be cut and right-clicking the Cut option or by pressing Ctrl+Z. Cutting text can only be done before transmitting data.
