Modifying and Deleting Actions

Before you can modify or delete entries in the configuration database, you must have the Edit Configuration data privilege set in your user entry.

Note: Any changes you make to the predefined action definitions may not be preserved when your Console Manager installation is upgraded with new releases.

Modifying Actions

To modify an action, choose the Show/Modify ... submenu item from the Action Profile menu and then follow the instructions for adding an action shown in the section, Adding Actions, earlier in this chapter.

If you want to modify more than one action, then click Apply instead of OK. This displays the Actions dialog box, but does not close the Select Action dialog box. When you have changed the action, you can now select another action from the Select Action dialog box.

Deleting Actions

To delete an action, choose the Edit, Action / Delete submenu, select the Action to delete, then click OK.

If you want to delete more than one action, then click Apply instead of OK. The Select Action dialog box is not closed, and you can now select another action to delete.
