Setting up the ENS Components

This chapter explains how to set up the components of ENS using the configuration editor to let Console Manager notify you of events detected on the consoles of serviced systems.

See the chapter Understanding ENS for a detailed description of events, scans, filters and actions. If you need only a quick reminder of the main points in creating filters and dispatches, then review the hints given in the chapter Understanding ENS.

If you need expert assistance in setting up ENS for your particular environment, contact your local CA representative.
