Modifying and Deleting Scans

Before you can modify or delete entries in the configuration database, you must have the Edit Configuration data privilege set in your user entry.

Modifying Scans

To modify a scan, choose the Edit Event Menu, Scan Profile Show/Modify submenu. and then follow the instructions for adding a scan shown in the section Adding Scans, earlier in this chapter.

If you want to modify more than one scan, then click Apply instead of OK. This displays the Scans dialog box, but does not close the Select Scan dialog box. When you have changed the scan, you can now select another scan from the Select Scan dialog box.

Deleting Scans

To delete a scan, choose the Delete ... submenu item from the Scan menu, select the scan to delete, then click OK.

If you want to delete more than one scan, then click Apply instead of OK. The Select Scan dialog box is not closed, and you can now select another scan to delete.
