Displaying and Hiding Labels for Individual Icons

If you have all labels switched on, you can turn off the labels for individual group, system and peripheral icons.

To turn off the labels for individual group, system and peripheral icons

1. Click the mode change button to change to Edit mode.
2. Click the right mouse button on the icon and select Modify from the popup menu. The Modify System dialog box is displayed (see the figure in the section, Setting Control Keys, earlier in this chapter).
3. Set the Label Placement field to None.

Alternatively, if you have all labels switched off, you can turn on the labels for individual group, system and peripheral icons.

To turn on the labels for individual group, system and peripheral icons

1. Click the mode change button to change to Edit mode.
2. Click the right mouse button on the icon and select Modify from the popup menu. The Modify System dialog box is displayed (see the figure in the section, Setting Control Keys, earlier in this chapter).
3. Set the Label Placement field to whichever position you want (Top or Bottom).
