When you add systems and groups to your configuration database, and reconfigure Console Manager, the related icons are positioned in rows on your C3 display in the order they appear in the configuration database.
Note: You cannot add or remove system and group icons directly on the C3 interface. This is done automatically by Console Manager when you reconfigure after editing the configuration database. However, you must have the privilege to edit the configuration database.
To edit the C3 display, you must have the Edit C3 privilege.
You can customize the default C3 display by:
To do this select edit mode, and then click the left mouse button on an icon or text object to move it, or click the right mouse button on the background to display a popup menu. This menu includes options to add peripherals, add text, draw lines, and change the window background.
The icons are X11 bitmaps, and you or your Console Manager host system manager can create additional icons if required. See Creating Your Own Icons, later in this chapter, for more information.
