Modifying Icons Representing Serviced Systems

The serviced systems you have access to in the configuration database are shown on the C3 display.

To change the icon outline, name, or description

  1. Click the mode change button to change to Edit mode.
  2. Click the right mouse button on the icon representing the serviced system you want to change.
  3. Choose Modify from the menu displayed. This displays the System Icon dialog box.
  4. Change the required fields in the dialog box.

    You can override the system icon defined in the configuration database for the system, without having to reconfigure your C3 interface. To do this:

    1. Select Override Console Manager database icon definition.
    2. Choose the new icon for the system.

    This change does not affect the system icon on the displays of other users.

  5. After finishing all your edits, click OK.
  6. Click the mode change button to change back to Interactive mode.
  7. To save your edits, pull down the Options menu and choose the Save menu item to save the changes you have made.

Note: You cannot change the Name field for a serviced system on your display.
