(Application) Update CA Spectrum Password in CA SOI
After you change CA Spectrum password in the application, you update the password in SOI.
Follow these steps:
- Log in to SOI.
- Click the Administration tab.
- Go to Administration Pages Column, Expand the Connector Configuration folder.
- Select MaaS-SOI.
The list of connectors appears in the Administration Pages section.
- Perform the following steps for all the spectrum connectors that are installed on SOI:
- Select the connectors that mention spectrum.
- Go to the Connection Details section.
- Update the Spectrum password in the Password field.
- Click Save.
- Click Stop and then click Start.
- Restart SOI services, go to Administrative tools,Services, select the following services, right-click, and then click Restart.
- CA SAM Event Management
- CA SAM Integration Services
If all the connectors turn Green, the password change is successful.
Important! If you have performed regional deployment of MaaS, the list of connectors corresponding to the regions appears with the list of connectors under Administration Pages. Ensure that you update the Spectrum password in the Regional connectors. If you enter a wrong password, the connectors that correspond to the regions that are listed in SOI do not turn red to indicate that a wrong password is used. If you enter a wrong password the connector must turn red indicating the connector has stopped working.
