Change CA Spectrum Password

CA Spectrum lets you to update the password from the user interface.

Note: The CA Spectrum password change is effective if the following conditions are satisfied:

• After you change the password in CA Spectrum, change the CA Spectrum password in Active Directory.
• Ensure that CA EEM is not running when you change CA Spectrum password.

Follow these steps:

1. Log in to CA Spectrum One Click.
2. Click Users.
3. Select spectrum.
4. Navigate to Component Detail portlet, type the password in the New Password, and in the Confirm New Password fields.
5. Backup the database.
6. Click Start, Administrative Tools, Services, CA Spectrum, right click, select Restart.

   The password is updated in CA Spectrum.
