Run the Client Installation in Silent Mode

To install the client installation pack without user input, perform a silent installation. Repeat this procedure on each client workstation.

Follow these steps:

  1. Copy the answer file to the target workstation.
  2. Execute the following command from the command line:
    Cloud_Insight_Server_8.3/s /f1"<location/filename.iss> command
    
    /f1"<location/filename.iss>"

    Specifies the location and name of the answer file.

    The installation runs and generations a log file named setup.log.

  3. Verify that the installation was successful.

    Full functionality of the CA Business Service Insight website is enabled on the workstation.
