CA BSI Tab Introduction
The CA BSI tab contains buttons and menu galleries that allow you to insert tags into the template document. The buttons are grouped in sections that correspond to CA BSI entities. An entity is CA BSI system logical entity. Each section is populated with a set of buttons. The sections are as follows:
- Global
- Contract Party
- Contract
- Custom Attribute
- Service
- Metric
- Parameter
- Report
- Setting
The template is created by inserting special tags into the document. The tags are replaced with data from the system during booklet generation. The tag types are either simple or complex. A tag is inserted with a place holder text and provides an indication of the booklet's look and feel. The place holder text allows you to apply styles to it. The tag is replaced during generation with system data.
Simple tags are comprised of:
- Text: A text value replaces this tag.
- Image: An image replaces this tag.
- External: An import of external content like HTML or another word document in Open XML format (.docx), such as Notes replaces this tag.
- Template Table: A table frame is inserted to allow table styling. A table with the same style is populated with system data.
- Template Name-Value: Name and value tags are inserted to allow the styling of the name-value collection.
Complex tags are comprised of:
- List: A container tag that repeats its contents as a list.
- Table: A container tag whose contents are comprised of a table: The table consists of a header and the first row. The first row serves as an item template row and is repeated during document generation. Header can have tags in the cells but they are not repeated.
- Details: A container tag that contains other tags but is not repeated.
