This section explains how to take advantage of the new features and functions by upgrading to CA Business Service Insight.
Note: You should be a DBA and be familiar with SQL commands to perform upgrades.
Starting the Upgrade:
The Welcome window opens.
The Select Language dialog opens.
When required applications are required for installation to proceed, they are listed in the next dialog.
The Installation Wizard displays.
The End User License Agreement window opens.
The JBoss Install Configuration window displays.
Note: If JBoss is already installed and you install a new version, installation overwrites the environment variable "JBOSS_HOME". The environment variable points to the new JBoss after installtion.
Note: When components from a previous JBoss version are detected, you are prompted to select the checkbox and enable Installation to clean them up.
The upgrade dialog window opens and displays the dialog boxes appropriate to your installation.
The Updating System window opens and the installation begins.
If the Run Migration Script check box was selected, a window opens. Follow the on-screen instructions.
The system restarts.
