Designer Step
The Designer step enables to create/edit the form using built-in controls.
The Designer step is split into three panes:
- ToolBox pane where the built-in controls are located and can be used for the design of the form by the drag-and-drop method.
- Properties pane where the properties of the selected control can be set
- Workspace pane where the form creator designs the form by placing controls from the ToolBox pane and sets the properties using the Properties pane. In addition, the form creator can preview the form or clear the controls and begin again.
In the Designer step:
- Drag a control(s) from the Toolbox pane to the Workspace pane. Use the Properties pane to help in the design of the form. For more information, see Built-in Controls Properties.

- Create Table - To create table-like controls corresponding to the fields of the event type. This is useful in order to enter multiple rows of data in a single form.
- In the Workspace pane, click Clear to clear the controls already placed on the workspace and begin again.
- In the Workspace pane, click Preview to open an on-screen view of the form as it will look when finalized.
- Click Next. The Mapping step is displayed.
- Click Back to discard your design and return to the General step.
- Click Cancel to abort the creation process and return to the Data Loading Forms page.
