Launch Attachments

Once an attachment is added to a contract, it can be launched from the attachments tab. The launch operation is performed according to the type of attachment.

• If the attachment is an Export document, the Generate process begins
• If the attachment is a Standard document, it opens
• If the attachment is a hyperlink, a browser page opens showing the desired page

If an attachment is an Export document, it can be generated according to specific locale settings. This is useful in cases where the person generating the document is located in a different geographical region than the person that actually uses the generated document.

To launch an attachment:

In the Attachments tab, click next to the desired attachment and select Launch. The appropriate operation (as described above) is performed and the attachment opens.

To launch an attachment with locale settings:

1. In the Attachments tab, click next to the desired attachment and select Regionalized Export. A Generate page opens.
2. In Date format, select DD/MM/YYYY or MM/DD/YYYY.
3. In Decimal separator, select. (Point) or , (Comma).
4. Click Cancel to return to the Attachments tab without generating the document.
5. Click Export to generate the document.

   The Generate page opens.

6. Click Close to exit.

   -OR-

7. Click on the link to open the document.

   A dialog box opens.

8. Click the desired option (Open, Save or Cancel).

   The document is opened.
