This table lists the related entities associated with a contract:

Event type	Event types specified in metric registrations.

Resource Type	Resource types that are indicated in metric registrations.
Resource	Resources that are specified in metric registrations or selected specifically in static clustering.
Resource Group	Resource groups that are specified in metric registrations or selected specifically in either dynamic or static clustering. If the check box is not selected, then the resources of resource group are not transferred with the contract.
Resource Group Tree	Depends on the setting of “Transfer contract with full resource structure” Yes or No. If yes, all the specifically related (by registration or by clustering) resource groups structures (recursively) are transferred top-down with the contract.

Registration that is done in the business logic code and uses an event type, resource, resource group or resource type that does not exist in the source environment, causes a registration error, but does not cause a failure in the contract commit and therefore, the contract can be transferred.
When using a registration by event type that is supported only in the business logic code, the content transfer does not recognize the event type as one that should be transferred along with the contract. In such a case, the contract is transferred, but fails in calculation. To fix the calculation failure, the event type should be selected for transfer specifically.
