How to Sync Conflicts

When a contract has been updated in both the source and local environments, no automatic solutions are provided. The recommended solution to recover from sync conflicts is as follows:

1. Purge the contract from the source environment.
2. Synchronize the environments by transferring the contract from the local environment to the source environment.
3. Reapply the changes to transfer (in the source environment) based on the changes that were already done in the local environment.
4. Transfer the contract from source environment to the local environment.

Another option is to purge the contract in the local environment and then reselect the contract for transfer. This option is less recommended because:

• It involves manual intervention in the local environment (which is sometimes a production environment)
• It requires full recalculation of the contract in the local environment.
