Export

Export is used to export specific contracts (including their related entities), functions or other entities.

Click Administration/Content Transfer/Export to display the Export page.

To export data:

Select one of the following options:

Contracts with related entities

Export selected contracts, including all entities related to those contracts.

To select a contract, select the contracts you want to export from the Available contracts list and click , or double-click the contracts. The contracts moves to the Included contracts list.

Note: Users (and security) are not exported by default when exporting a contract Users and security are only exported when doing a "full export". This prevents a situation in which export of a contract unintentionally creates users or change security in the import environment.

Functions

Export selected functions, including all entities related to those functions.

To export a function(s), select the function(s) to be exported from the Available Business Logic Components list and click , or double-click the function(s). The function(s) moves to the Included Business Logic Components list.

Other entities

Select specific entities from the database to export.

  • Included Configuration: For selecting resources, resource types, event types, adapters, raw data and translation.
  • Included Catalog: For selecting domains, services, contract parties and regional options.
  • Included Template: For selecting one of the templates (contracts, timeslots or business logic).
  • Included Exception: For selecting any exceptions defined for contracts.

Select the entity(s) to be exported from the required Available fields and click the arrow, or double-click the entity. The entity(s) moves to the appropriate Included list.

  1. In File name, enter a name for the export file to be created.
  2. Click Export. The selected data is exported to the <installation directory>\packages folder.
