Delete a Role

Roles are deleted from their Role Details page. A role can be deleted even if it has users defined for it.

Caution: Deleting a role that has users defined for it can result in preventing those users from accessing parts of CA Business Service Insight.

Important: The default roles provided by CA Business Service Insight must not be deleted.

Follow these steps:

  1. In the Roles page, perform a search to display the required roles in the search results area.
  2. Click next to the role you want to delete and select Delete.

    A confirmation dialog box opens.

  3. Click Yes.

    The role is deleted.
