Search for a Resource or Resource Group

By default, the Resources page displays an alphabetical list of all resources and resource groups that are valid as of the resources effective date. To shorten the list, use the search procedure defined below.

To search for a resource or resource group

  1. In the Resources page, select a search option or options:
  2. Click Search.

    The results display below the search area.

Note: You can also select a letter from the alphabet list to display a list of resources that begins with that letter.

You can use an advanced filtering mechanism for additional refining of the search results.

To add advanced filtering options

  1. Repeat step one from above.
  2. Click Advanced.

    The Resource Advanced Search page opens.

  3. Select a search option or options:
  4. Click Search.

    The results display below the search area.

The search area grid in the Resources page displays the search results in column format. Grid settings and other actions can be performed using the Grid Setting button button. For more information on the search results grid, see Using Search Results Grids. Columns with indications unique to the Resources page are also shown in the search results grid as follows:

Resource icon

Denotes a resource result.

Resource Group icon

Denotes a resource group result.

Edit according to 'Default' change set icon

Button enabling to edit the resource or resource group according to the default change set.

Contains Uncommitted Changes icon

Denotes that the resource or resource group contains uncommitted changes

Effective icon

Denotes that the resource or resource group is effective.

Not Effective icon

Denotes that the resource or resource group is not effective.
