In addition to manual change controls, the Service Delivery CMDB provides an automated solution to synchronize the changes from external CMDBs (one or many). The automation process links and reflects the external CMDB changes to the Service Delivery CMDB. Advanced users can define conditional business logic to change resource attributes, automatically link resources to contract parties, alert and audit changes in the Service Delivery CMDB.
The process of resource creation, management and maintenance is automated using the Translation Scripts module and the resource management API.
